The Colorado Rockies are a Major League Baseball team which established in 1991 and based in Denver, Colorado. The team had started to play in the year of 1993 in the West Division of the National League. After the loosing some games the team has won National League pennant for the first time in franchise. The Rockies joined National League in the year of 1993. The team got the name after the Rocky Mountains and they play their home games at Coors Field in down town Denver.

The Manager of the team is Jim Tracy and has seven coaches are playing in the team. The team is currently controlled by chief executive officer Charlie Monfort .The colors of the team are black, purple, and silver and white the logo has designed Purple Mountain with baseball.

The latest of this season 2010 is the 18th in the franchise of the major League Baseball. For the first time in the history the clubs features attempt to make the postseason repeated.
